"Intensity" Eagle Head Sculpture
The American Bald Eagle has one of the most recognized heads in the avian world. The white feathers on its head are easily seen while it soars thousands of feet above. “Intensity” is a handmade American Bald Eagle head sculpture made to show intensity and seriousness conveying the raw strength and power of the bald eagle represents. This one-of-a-kind sculpture is made of copper wire, tubing, and 750 individual hand cut feathers soldered onto the wire frame. The powerful beak is made from brass and the sculpture is mounted on a stone. The head feathers are colored white using a white bismuth and then covered with renaissance wax. The wax pulls out a very slight tint of green patina on this metal sculpture which may vary slightly over the years.
