Metal Sculptures

The wild side of metal

The Hummingbird’s wings beating so fast they’re a blur, the Great Blue Heron gliding effortlessly overhead, the amazing complexity of a pineapple, or the sound of a warm breeze blowing through a palm’s fronds are a few of the things inspiring me in my works of art. I strive to replicate, as accurately as possible, the natural beauty I see all around me.

My metal sculptures usually start with a wire or tubing frame structure. Then as needed, I employ a variety of different techniques to create an array of very intricate pieces. Often, thousands of pieces are combined forming the most realistic and lifelike metal sculpture possible. I hope those who view my work not only appreciate the beauty in my art, but more importantly, reflect on the awe-inspiring gifts mother nature provides for all of us to enjoy.
